This 5-day safari takes you through three of Tanzania’s most iconic destinations: the elephant-rich landscapes of Tarangire, the endless plains of the Serengeti, and the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. Each day promises diverse habitats, abundant wildlife, and unforgettable safari experiences.

Begin your safari with a drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its towering baobab trees, acacia-dotted savannahs, and seasonal rivers that attract large herds of elephants. With over 500 bird species and a variety of wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests, Tarangire offers a perfect start to your adventure.
Overnight: At your chosen lodge or camp near Tarangire
Journey to the world-famous Serengeti National Park, a vast wilderness of open plains, granite kopjes, and scattered woodlands. Spend two days on thrilling game drives, where you may encounter gazelles, wildebeests, zebras, and predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Depending on the season, you could also witness the incredible Great Migration, one of nature’s most spectacular events. Bird lovers will enjoy the park’s rich avian diversity.
Overnight: At your chosen lodge or camp in Serengeti
Enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti before heading toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. Travel through volcanic landscapes and fertile soils, arriving at the crater rim for breathtaking panoramic views. The highlands provide a unique contrast with montane forests and cool, fresh air.
Overnight: At your chosen lodge or camp on the crater rim or nearby
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” This natural caldera is home to a rich diversity of wildlife, including elephants, antelopes, zebras, hippos, and the famous flamingos around the crater lakes. With luck, you may also spot a rhino, completing your Big Five sightings. After your crater exploration, return to Arusha, marking the end of your safari
