Experience an unforgettable 5-day Tanzania Safari starting with your arrival in Arusha, where you’ll transfer to Lake Manyara National Park for a day of diverse wildlife encounters. Next, journey to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its elephant herds and unique baobab trees, before continuing to the iconic Serengeti National Park for two days of thrilling game drives amidst the endless plains and witnessing the Great Migration. Spend a day exploring the abundant wildlife of Serengeti Seronera region, followed by an adventure into the Ngorongoro Crater/Caldera, a unique eco-system with diverse wildlife. Conclude your safari with a return to Arusha, filled with incredible memories of Tanzania’s natural wonders.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha and Transfer to Lake Manyara

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport.
Meet your guide/driver and transfer to Lake Manyara National Park.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and beautiful landscapes.
Overnight stay at a lodge or camp near Lake Manyara.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant population and baobab trees.
Enjoy a full day of game driving in Tarangire, exploring its diverse habitats and wildlife.
Lunch will be served at a picnic spot within the park.
Continue game driving in the afternoon.
Overnight stay at a lodge or camp near Tarangire National Park.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park (Central)

Depart early for Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most famous parks and home to the Great Migration.
Enjoy a game drive en route to Serengeti, exploring its vast plains and spotting wildlife along the way.
Arrive in the Serengeti and embark on an afternoon game drive in the Seronera region, known for its abundance of wildlife.
Overnight stay at a lodge or camp in the Serengeti.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park (Seronera)

Spend a full day exploring the Seronera region of the Serengeti, with game drives in search of predators in action and other wildlife.
Visit the Seronera River Valley, a prime wildlife viewing area.
Optional activities may include a hot air balloon safari (if available and booked in advance).
Overnight stay at the same lodge or camp in the Serengeti.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater/Caldera and Return to Arusha

Early morning breakfast, then depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater/Caldera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Africa with abundance of wildlife.
Enjoy a full day of game driving in the crater, exploring its diverse ecosystems and incredible wildlife.
Have a picnic lunch inside the crater.
In the late afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin the journey back to Arusha.
Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport for departure.
