Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your safari begins with a drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, known for its iconic baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Enjoy an afternoon game drive through the park’s rolling savannas, spotting giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of birdlife. Settle in for the night at a lodge or tented camp near the park. Overnight in Tarangire.
Day 2–7: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, travel to the legendary Serengeti National Park. Over the next six days, explore the central, western, and northern plains, witnessing endless landscapes of open savannas, kopjes, and acacias. Daily game drives offer opportunities to see wildebeests, gazelles, lions, elephants, and a rich variety of birds. Whether tracking predators, observing herds on the move, or enjoying a peaceful sunset, each day brings new discoveries. Overnight stays are in lodges or camps within different regions of the Serengeti to maximize your wildlife experience.
Day 8: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim
After a morning game drive, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at scenic viewpoints along the way and enjoy panoramic views as you reach the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Overnight at a lodge overlooking this spectacular natural amphitheater.
Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife. Explore its diverse habitats of grasslands, forests, and lakes, where lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, and rhinos coexist. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch before returning to the crater rim for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10: Lake Manyara National Park

Day 11: Arusha National Park
Visit Arusha National Park, a smaller reserve with a variety of landscapes from the forested slopes of Mount Meru to crater lakes and grasslands. Spot giraffes, buffaloes, colobus monkeys, and colorful waterbirds during a game drive or walking safari. Overnight in or near Arusha National Park.
Day 12–13: Flexible Exploration Days
Spend two extra days either revisiting favorite areas of the Serengeti or exploring nearby highlands, forests, and volcanic soils around Arusha. These days allow for additional game drives, scenic hikes, or cultural visits to local villages. Overnight near your chosen area.
Day 14: Return to Arusha
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your 14-day safari adventure. Reflect on the unforgettable wildlife encounters, breathtaking landscapes, and rich cultural experiences gathered throughout your journey.
